Bronster <br />and Robert M. Hatch, Attorneys for Appellants, re Appellants' Motion for Mediation; <br />Notice of Hearing; Certificate of Service (In the matter of the Appeal(s) by: <br />Aaron Arbles; Robert Bailey; Reuben Chun; Michael Gahan; Michael Hayashida, <br />Garret Komatsu; Gerald Kosaki; Steve Loyola; Jerry Lum; Ty Medeiros; Paul Paiva; <br />Raymond Rowe, Jr.; Warren Sumida; and Alvin Tobosa, Appellants, Regarding <br />Individual(s) Whose Action(s) are being Appealed: Mitch Roth, Mayor, County of <br />Hawaii, and Waylen L. Leopoldino, Director of Human Services, County of <br />Hawaii, Employer). <br />Board action required: Approve or deny Appellant's request to order the <br />parties to mediation with a private mediator to be agreed upon by the <br />parties. <br />Executive Session <br />The Merit Appeals Board anticipates convening one or more executive meetings <br />regarding the above matter listed on the agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and <br />92-5(a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board's attorney on questions and <br />issues pertaining to the Board's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and <br />liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an <br />executive meeting. <br />
