AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING <br /> At 11:15 a.m. Chairperson DeFranco introduced this item. No requests were made by the <br /> Commissioners. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Chairperson DeFranco announced the Leeward Planning Commission's next monthly meeting is <br /> scheduled for Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the County of Hawaii County Council Chambers in <br /> Kona and the public may provide verbal testimony by interactive video conference via Zoom or <br /> at the physical location. Planning Program Manager Maija Jackson stated there are ten items <br /> tentatively scheduled on the July agenda including the deferral of the applications for <br /> Ka`upulehu Land, LLC. She made a clarification that the 1250 Oceanside LLC (Item 93) <br /> application has been deferred and not withdrawn yet. Commissioner Vitousek inquired if there <br /> are any announcements on new commissioners. Director Kern answered a nominee's name was <br /> transmitted to the County Council and believes it should be heard at the July 5, 2023 Committee <br /> hearing. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, it was moved by Commissioner Knowles and seconded by <br /> Commissioner Vitousek that the meeting be adjourned. A voice vote was taken, and the motion <br /> carried with all in favor.
