Local Emergency Planning Committee November 9, 2023 LOCAL EMERGENCY PLANNING COMMITTEE AGENDA DATE: Thursday, November 91h, 2023 TIME: 9:00 AM PLACE: Civil Defense Emergency Operations Center and via Zoom 920 Ululani Street, Hilo, HI 96720 Commission members will participate in person, via ZOOM, or by teleconference. Members of the public may attend this meeting either in person at the meeting location or by via ZOOM. To sign up for access in the meeting via ZOOM,please contact Jordyn Mantz at 2L'd ji.mantz(&,hawaiicoumrot . ov or (808) 932-2900 no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023. Anyone wishing to testify orally via ZOOM must sign up by 12 noon on Wednesday November 8th, 2023,by contacting Jordyn Mantz. The meeting shall be automatically recessed for up to thirty (30) minutes to restore communication when audiovisual communication cannot be maintained with all members participating in the meeting and with the in-person location identified in this agenda. The meeting may reconvene when either audiovisual communication is restored, or audio-only communication is established after an unsuccessful attempt to restore audiovisual communication. If it is not possible to reconvene the meeting as provided in this section within thirty(30) minutes after an interruption to communication, the meeting shall be automatically terminated. Public testimony: The public may provide oral testimony either in-person at the meeting location or via ZOOM. Pursuant to HRS Section 92-3, interested persons who want to provide oral testimony may do so either at the time the Board takes public statements on items on the agenda or at the time the specific agenda item is called.
