Hawaii Fire Commission <br /> Meeting Agenda <br /> September 28, 2023 <br /> Page 2 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of the Fire Commission's duties and responsibilities under the County <br /> Charter § 7-4.3 and Rules 11 and 13 of the County of Hawai`i's Fire Commission <br /> Rules and Regulations, including the Fire Chief's appointment, evaluation, <br /> discipline, and removal. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION (CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC) <br /> o The Fire Commission anticipates convening an executive meeting <br /> regarding the above matter, pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section <br /> 92-5(a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Commission's attorney <br /> on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission's powers, duties, <br /> privileges, immunities, and liabilities.
