Pana`ewa Rainforest Zoo & Gardens <br />RULES FOR MOBILITY SCOOTER USE <br />(DANGER: DO NOT FEED, PLAY, TOUCH, OR CONTACT ANY ANIMALS) <br />*A minimum 48-hour weekday advance reservation is recommended to <br />ensure a Mobility Scooter is available for your use. Walk-ins may be <br />accommodated if scooter is available. Please call: (808) 959-7224 or <br />email: Mindy.Ru,inells(a-)-hawaiicounty.gov to make advanced <br />reservations. <br />1) Scooters are pre-set at 5 miles per hour and shall remain at that setting. <br />2) Scooters shall stay at lowered SLOW (TURTLE) speed at all times. <br />3) Scooters must only be operated on paved walkways and are not allowed <br />off paved areas. <br />4) Scooter operator shall give walking patrons the right of way. <br />5) Scooter users must be physically and mentally capable of operating the <br />scooter in a safe manner. <br />6) Violation of any of the above rules will result in termination of use. <br />7) Zoo personnel reserve the right to terminate use of scooter upon viewing <br />improper use thereof. <br />
