So, at this time, Mr. Patel, we'll excuse you while we're in executive session. So, if you could kindly wait outside of the Chamber doors. Thank you. RECESS: The Chair called for a recess at 10:56 a.m. to convene executive session. RECONVENE: The meeting reconvened at 12:02 p.m. in open session. CHR. CABANAS: Okay. The Merit Appeals Board is now back in open session with all four Board members present—Mr. David Wiseman, Ms. Gay Mathews, Ms. Kate De Soto, Ms. Gabriella Cabanas, Acting Director of Human Resources Danny Patel, our Assistant Corporation Counsel appearing via ZOOM J Yoshimoto, and our Secretary -Reporter Glynis Yamada. So, now may I have a motion for the Merit Appeals Board, as we discussed in executive session, the selection process to fill the next director of human resources position with the timeline that we discussed for an internal recruitment in the County where all employees are eligible to apply, irregardless of civil service status, and for the internal recruitment in the County to be conducted sometime in August 2023.
