Leopoldino, <br />Director, Department Of Human Resources, Transmitting A "Merit Appeals Board <br />Reference Guide (March 2023) A Compilation Of Information Concerning The <br />Department Of Human Resources" <br />CHR. CABANAS: We are now on Number 5, "Communications." Has everyone had the <br />opportunity to review the Merit Appeals Board Reference Guide that Mr. Leopoldino has <br />submitted? Okay. <br />(At this time, Mr. Waylen Leopoldino, Director, Human Resources Department, came <br />forward.) <br />CHR. CABANAS: Is there a motion to approve—accept and file this Communication number <br />23-01? <br />MS. MATHEWS: So moved. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Second? <br />MR. KUNZ: Second. <br />CHR. CABANAS: Any discussion? I just want to interject, Waylen, that this guide is very <br />helpful. <br />For the record, I want to explain why you did it so that it would give us, as Board members, a <br />reference when there are future appeal hearings—when we start discussing technical HR <br />terminology. I find that the guide—and I think all Board members would agree that this guide is <br />very helpful to all of us. Yeah.
