The runoff will cause flooding <br /> in downslope properties and flow more freely into the ocean. *(Please see attachment <br /> showing the development location in the North Kona Flood Corridor) <br /> Kuakini Hwy floods now because of already existing developments. Royal Vistas will <br /> only exacerbate the problem, because it appears there is no Flood Risk Management <br /> Project at all. <br /> Another concern is the lack of infrastructure (such as: roads, water, sewer capacity, <br /> medical facilities, landfill capacity, etc.) to support not only Royal Vistas, but also the <br /> numerous other planned developments along "Queen K" Hwy and Kuakini <br /> Hwy and Ali'i Drive. Any increase to the current traffic volume on these roadways will <br /> cause unacceptable gridlock. <br /> Also, consider this possibility: Does more construction contribute to global warming? <br />
