Fellow Commissioners, do we have any questions of Mr. Bar <br />Mr. Housel. <br /> <br />HOUSEL: I had a question just to make sure I understand what you are proposing. <br />You are proposing 53 lots, right? <br />BARRETT: Yes. <br />HOUSEL: Okay. Average of this lot size will be 10,000 square feet, is that correct? <br />BARRETT: Yes. <br />HOUSEL: Okay. However, you want to reduce some of those to 7,000 square feet. <br />Is that what the plan is? <br />BARRETT: Yes. Some of the lots will be smaller in size and some of them will go up <br />a little bit over the 10,000. <br />HOUSEL: Okay, but the total lots will stay at 53? <br />BARRETT: Yes, it will. <br />HOUSEL: Okay, okay, thatÓs what I wanted to clarify. The other <br />the Condition R; it says the applicant will comply with the requ <br />HawaiÒi County Code relating to Affordable Housing Policy. How do you plan to do that? <br /> <br />BARRETT: As of right now we plan on complying with the rule and we donÓt know if <br />thatÓs still incorporating 53 lots Î I believe there will be 11 lots that will be for affordable <br />housing Î so we are not sure if we are going to incorporate some of that into our subdivision or if <br />we are going to buy the available credits. <br /> <br />HOUSEL: I see, okay. So thatÓs why itÓs not defined in the applica-. <br /> <br />BARRETT: ItÓs not defined, yeah. We are still unsure of how we want to incorporate <br />it into the property. <br /> <br />HOUSEL: I see, okay. The roadways that you show here in your plan, do those <br />include bicycle trails? <br /> <br />BARRETT: There are sidewalks on all sides of the street except the makai of the road <br />moving through there. And there will be no access to those lots; thatÓs a pretty steep portion of it <br />right there, so we are going to access it from the top lots.
