PRASAD: No. That’s incorrect. I contacted or attempted to contact everyone <br />whose names I was given. I didn’t always succeed in getting an interview completed and <br />in some cases I didn’t even manage to make an actual contact. There may have just been <br />phone message left and so forth. <br />IWASHITA: That’s not what I’m asking. My -. <br />GRAHAM: Go ahead, Commissioner Iwashita. <br />IWASHITA: Appendix C, the title page says “KUPUNA AND OTHERS <br />CONSULTED FOR INFORMATION ABOUT TRADITIONAL BELIEFS AND LAND <br />USES IN THE PROJECT AREA.” Okay? That’s on the title page. So that tells me that <br />the people listed on the following page, that those are people that you actually consulted <br />and got information from. Is that correct? <br />PRASAD: These were definitely people that I made contact with. And maybe <br />that’s an incorrect title for me to have written the word “consulted” there. But I don’t <br />have complete interviews or some people didn’t have any information. I don’t have that <br />from each and every individual on this list; but, yes, everyone one of them was contacted. <br />GRAHAM: Thank you. Further, Commissioner Iwashita? <br />IWASHITA: I just, so right now where I’m at is taking what you’ve said now <br />and what Mr. Tyler said earlier, is that there are people out there that you did not get <br />information from that may, that Mr. Tyler gave you names of that may have information <br />about cultural activities on this property that you, in fact, were not able to get information <br />from. <br />PRASAD: Not whose names he would have given me. Those people I would <br />have contacted. He’s one of the most knowledgeable individuals about this property. <br />Anybody whose names he had given me would have been probably foremost on my list <br />to contact. I shouldn’t say probably, they would have been. There may be other names <br />he has that I don’t have. There may be people I didn’t contact that are important too; but <br />I did contact who he suggested. <br />GRAHAM: Thank you, Ms. Prasad.
