Four Palms LLC, dba SoKo Kitchen and Cocktails, RE: Application No. 21-01, approval of request to extend the time (10:36 AM) issuance of the liquor license for good cause shown for an additional 12 months from October 7, 2023, to and including October 7, 2024, by email received September 16, 2023, of its Restaurant General liquor license, Category B2, located at the Mango Court Shopping Center, 79-7460 Mamalahoa Highway, Suite #A-104 and 105, Kealakekua, Hawaii. Passage requires finding of good cause pursuant to Rule 4-2(M) of the Rules and Regulations of the Liquor Commission of the County of Hawaii. If the Commission finds good cause, state what that good cause is when making the motion. Ibarra: Any motion to approve with good cause, Commissioners? Nishimoto: Commissioner Nishimoto, motion to approve due to delays with building permits, and due to code issues regarding the property, but not so much with their space, according to their letter. Ibarra: Any second? Thomas: Commissioner Thomas, second. Commissioner Nishimoto moved to approve the request to extend the time issuance of the liquor license for good cause shown for an additional 12 months from October 7, 2023, to and including October 79 2024, by email received September 16, 2023, of its Restaurant General liquor license, Category 132, located at the Mango Court Shopping Center, 79-7460 Mamalahoa Highway, Suite #A-104 and 105, Kealakekua, Hawaii; Seconded by Commissioner Thomas. Ibarra: Any discussion of the motion? Any discussion or questions? There was no discussion by Commissioners. Ibarra: There be none. Voting on the motion to approve with good cause as stated, all in favor please say "Aye." The Commissioners voted "Aye." Ibarra: Opposition, "Nay." There was no opposition by Commissioners.
