Towill,AECOS No. 1615. <br /> The Department of Army proposes to replace a water line across a stream at Fort <br /> Shafter, Oahu. AECOS, Inc. conducted surveys of the biological flora/fauna <br /> resources at the site, assessed water quality, and delineated the extent of federal <br /> jurisdictional Waters of the U.S. Results of the surveys support the permitting <br /> process for the Project, and include compliance with Sec. 10 of the Rivers and <br /> Harbors Act, as well as Clean Water Act Sec. 402 NPDES, Sec. 404 permitting, <br /> and Sec. 401 water quality certifications. To delineate the federal jurisdictional <br /> limits of Waters of the U.S.,AECOS biologists marked stream ordinary high water <br /> mark, measured tidal shift to determine mean higher high water, and evaluated soil <br /> pits to determine the presence/absence of adjacent wetlands. <br /> 2019. Natural resources survey for the Waihe`e Riparian Learning Center in <br /> Kahulu`u, Ko`olau Poko District, O`ahu.
