<br /> Matt Raimi,AICP I President + Principal
<br /> Matt is the founder of R+A and has over 25 years of planning experience across the
<br /> country. He has directed numerous comprehensive plans, specific plans, corridor
<br /> plans, vision plans, healthy community plans, and other complex planning projects
<br /> throughout the country. Matt is an expert in creating inclusive and authentic public
<br /> planning processes and creating more equitable, resilient, and sustainable cities. Matt
<br /> worked on the Kaua'i General Plan and is currently leading the Primary Urban Center
<br /> Development Plan in Honolulu and the Central Maui Community Plan.
<br /> Simran Malhotra,AICP,AAIA I Vice-President + Principal
<br /> Simran's background in planning, urban design, and architecture brings a distinctive
<br /> ';P1 design perspective to all her projects leading to the creation of vibrant, attractive, and
<br /> thriving places. She has authored plans for many types of urban environments, in
<br /> particular, TOD/mixed use districts, downtowns, historic and residential
<br /> neighborhoods, commercial corridors, and educational campuses. These community-
<br /> based planning and urban design efforts have achieved notable implementation.
<br /> Kym Dorman I COO + Principal
<br /> Kym Dorman is a leading social sector consultant who excels at conducting
<br /> evaluations, needs assessments, and developing planning processes for complex
<br /> community efforts that emphasize organizational and community capacity.With 20
<br /> years of experience as an applied researcher and facilitator, Kym's professional
<br /> expertise spans a range of issues, including education, community health and
<br /> wellness, health care access, and active transportation.
<br /> Ron Whitmore, PhD,AICP I Principal
<br /> Ron brings 25 years of public sector planning, private consulting, and non-profit
<br /> experience. Ron has led a variety of complex planning projects, including General
<br /> Plans, community plans, suitability analysis, climate adaptation plans, and housing
<br /> plans. For 13 years, he played senior leadership roles in the Planning and Research &
<br /> :T��,i► �� Development departments in Hawai'i County.As Principal Planner and Interim
<br /> Manager of the Long Range Division, he led the General Plan, community plan, and
<br /> CIP programs. Ron was also project manager for the Ka'u Community Development
<br /> Plan, which was recognized with a Hawai'i APA Best Practice award for its
<br /> groundbreaking engagement and implementation-focused design. He is currently
<br /> managing the Climate Adaptation Plan for the County of Kaua'i and the Central Maui
<br /> Community Plan.
