PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT <br />Omidyar Fellow September 2018 —Present <br />Omidyar Fellows is an enduring and ongoing commitment to an active network of leaders and change makers, all of <br />whom are dedicated to making positive movement on Hawaii's most pressing issues. Fellows also commit to the ongoing <br />development of their leadership and its impact in Hawaii. <br />Alakai Series: Aloha United Way's Leadership Development, Aloha United Way July 2016 <br />Workshop series to support leaders of partnership agencies to build organizational capacity in order to enhance <br />organizational performance, financial sustainability, and community impact. Topics focused on internal board and staff <br />collaboration, increasing program effectiveness and impact, improving communication and marketing, strengthening <br />partnership development, and included a peer coaching as well as executive coaching components. <br />Weinberg Fellow, Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation December 2013 <br />Intensive three session, multiple -day training that focused on enhancing skills and effectiveness of executive directors of <br />nonprofit organizations. Sessions blended hands-on skills/experiences, practical information, inspirational speakers, and <br />the opportunity to explore sector -specific issues with a cohort of peers. <br />Next Generation Leadership Program, National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development <br />(CAPACD) June 2013 <br />National program that provides support and mentorship to the next generation of community leaders and professionals in <br />the community development field. <br />Facilitative Skills for Collaborative Leaders, University of Hawaii at Manoa January 2013 <br />Two-day workshop with Donna R. Ching, Ph.D to help individuals lead from within their organizations or groups.
