Following <br /> affiliations her graduation,she spent eight years teaching at several UH campuses and <br /> Council for Native Hawaiian served as the Director of Native Hawaiian Career and Technical Education at <br /> Advancement Leeward Community College. She was recruited by the Office of Hawaiian <br /> Board Member,2019-2020 Affairs to assist in leading their newly established research division and was <br /> Ka Honua Momona soon promoted to Chief Knowledge Officer. Malia is also the founding editor <br /> Board member,2016-Present of MANA Magazine and continues to serve on its advisory board.
