<br /> d SCOPE: B+K is creating three regional plans for the Central, South and West Maui regions.These plans highlight the need for
<br /> affordable housing and infrastructure that would support those projects as part of the House Maui Initiative.The House Maui
<br /> Initiative supports the planning and delivery of much needed affordable and workforce housing while building on the County
<br /> of Maui's community-based planning process. As part of the effort,the B+K team explored where regional infrastructure can
<br /> support and serve as a catalyst for affordable and workforce housing projects.Last year,the B+K team helped the County get
<br /> additional funding for the Waiale Road Extension project,as a recipient of$25 M through the RAISE grant.Through a public
<br /> private partnership with the neighboring developer,200 additional affordable homes will be built.
