April 02, 2017 <br /> 1 would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr.Thorne Abbott and his company CoastalZone.com for <br /> his efforts to help with securing a Special Management Permit (SMA)for a sub-division in Napili, Hawaii. <br /> Mr. Abbott went above and beyond his duties to not only explain the process thoroughly to me, but to <br /> actively seek out difficult solutions to the very complicated process of dealing with the county of Maui <br /> and the permit process. I am relatively new to the island (5 years)with extensive development <br /> experience but quickly found out that most of that experience needs to stay where I learned it and I <br /> needed to hire and trust a team of professionals to assist in my plans. <br /> His anticipation from many years of experience, and the extremely important relationships he has <br /> formed with the agencies involved,was invaluable to me while his collaborative efforts between himself <br /> and my engineer were flawless. He offered several solutions and options when we were given <br /> roadblocks and his ideas were genuine and very well thought out. <br /> Integrity, commitment, dedication, knowledge and respect. Strong words I personally do not just throw <br /> around.
