MOOERS:Yes I have received it and it is pretty much identical to all of the other 30 <br />that have been done in this neighborhood. We have no objections to any of the conditions as <br />proposed. <br />GALDONES:Commissioners are there any questions of Mr. Mooers? Commissioner <br />Graham? <br />GRAHAM:Greg, we have a long letter from the Department of Health in the <br />Background about applications for NPDES. He has a permit already can you just in laymans <br />words explain to us what that involves-? <br />MOOERS:Well, I think what the Department of Health has done is basically outline <br />the requirements for NPDES permit. I dont believe one will be required for this site because it <br />doesnotdrainintonavigablewaters.Itdoesnot-,theywontbegradingthatmuchareasoI <br />dont think it applies here. So its one of those cases where I think the Department when they <br />responded to the request just said okay. Its like the fire department saying here our fire code <br />requirements and so it does not apply to this property. <br />GALDONES:Any further questions? Seeing none, Mr. Mooers do you have any closing <br />statements? There being none. Norman, in the recommendation there is the recommendation for <br />the State Land Use Boundary Amendment. There also, theres the change of zone <br />recommendation? <br />HAYASHI:Yes thats correct there are 2 recommendations. For the State Land Use <br />Boundary amendment if you notice there are no conditions. What we do is impose those <br />conditions at the zone change. <br />GALDONES:Commissioners taking it one item at a time in reference to State Land Use <br />Boundary Amendment it comes with a recommendation for approval and submitted-, a favorable <br />recommendation be given and submitted to the County Council for approval. <br />ALAMEDA:Ill make a motion. <br />GALDONES:Commissioner Alameda? <br />ALAMEDA:I move that a favorable recommendation be forwarded to the County <br />Council regarding application for the boundary amendment SLU 05-003 based on the Planning <br />Directors recommendation. <br />SIRACUSA:Second. <br />GALDONES:It has been moved by Commissioner Alameda and seconded by <br />Commissioner Siracusa on Martin E. Smith application for State Land Use Boundary <br />Amendment SLU 05-003 be given a favorable recommendation and be forwarded to the County <br />Council. Discussion?
