The following are examples of projects in <br /> which we had an active public involvement program: <br /> — Honolulu High-Capacity Transit Corridor <br /> — Honoapiilani Highway Widening/Realignment <br /> — Kamehameha Highway Improvements, Waihona Street to Center Drive <br /> — Statewide Storm Water Management Program-the public outreach portion won several awards <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE SERVICES <br /> We have extensive experience and a thorough knowledge of State of Hawaii, county, and Federal Highways <br /> Administration(FHWA) regulations and guidelines in the preparation and processing of EAs, findings of no <br /> significant impact(FONSIs), CatExs, Section 106 memoranda of agreement(MOAs), Section 7 coordination, <br /> wetlands delineations and functions and values assessments, U.S.Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permits, <br /> NPDES permits, grading and grubbing approvals, compliance with Section 343 of Hawaii Revised Statutes, <br /> hazardous materials coordination and procedures,Burial Council approvals, and many other environmental <br /> procedures and documents.Examples of our capabilities in this area include the Interstate Route H-3 project, <br /> the Farrington Highway Improvements at Nanakuli and Haleakala Avenues project, the Statewide Storm <br /> Water Management Program, and most of the other projects presently underway in the office.These projects <br /> all involve the coordination of numerous professionals with expertise spanning a broad range of disciplines. <br />
