The property is located along the west (mauka) side of Paradise Ala Kai Street, <br />approximately 1 mile from its intersection with Paradise Drive, Hawaiian Paradise Park <br />Subdivision, Keaau, Puna, Hawaii. TMK: 1-5-59:28. <br />GRAHAM:Applicant: Pat Fay and Mary Roblee. This is a Special Permit request for <br />a bed and breakfast within an existing single family dwelling; and this is in the Puna District. <br />And if you€ll hold on just a second, I€ll get my paperwork together for contested case procedures. <br />Okay, I think what we€d like to do is start with sort of a recap of where we€re at and how we got <br />here. So Mr. Torigoe will give us just a little rundown of where we€re at. <br />TORIGOE:Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Basically, just for your information, we had a <br />prehearing conference with the parties and Mr. Graham, just to see if we could come up with a <br />procedure that would work since the Intervenor, Ms. Lai, is in California and really didn€t want <br />to come for the hearing.
