PAVAO: "Communications" we don't have any communications. <br />New Business (Item 5) <br />Communication No. 23-14: Proposed Findings Of Fact By The 2023 County Of Hawaii <br />Salary Commission, Dated October 12, 2023: Pursuant To Section 13-28 Of The Hawaii <br />County Charter (2022), As Amended, The County Of Hawaii Salary Commission Makes <br />Its Findings In Support Of Its Decision To Adjust The Salaries And Salary Schedule Of <br />Elected And Appointed Officials Of The County Of Hawaii, To Be Effective January 1, <br />2024. (A Table Of The Proposed Salary Increases Are Set Forth And Attached As <br />Exhibit "A") <br />CHR. PAVAO: "New Business" for discussion—Communication 23-14 is the Proposed <br />Findings of Fact of the 2023 County of Hawaii Salary Commission, dated October 12, 2023 <br />which we all have copies of. Discussion? This also includes the Exhibit A, the table of proposed <br />salary increases, set forth and attached. <br />Any discussion? It should be the email that was attached and circulated to all of us—from <br />Commissioner Farahi to Glynis (SEE ATT. A, COMM. NO. 23-14.01). Any discussion? If not, <br />then we just—do we need to vote and accept the communication or just move on then? Okay. <br />Seeing no discussion, I move on to Communication 23-13.01 <br />MR. NELSON: I think we need to get—this is NelsonI think we're going to need to, kind of, <br />walk through this—the Finding of Facts—which I think was attached to Commissioner Farahi's <br />message. I think we got to go through that. <br />Yeah, it was a markup. I think that's what we need to go through. I mean, he provided a <br />markup. It was some further markups. I've got a couple of suggested changes. I don't know if <br />anybody else has some changes but I think that's what we need to do. <br />CHR. PAVAO: Yeah. This is the one that we're looking at now is this Findings of Facts, by the <br />Salary Commission, Dated October 12th, 2023. So, we can go through that and see if the <br />corrections that have been made is acceptable or if we need to make further corrections. <br />Page 4 <br />
