STATEICOUNTV PLANS AF'F'ECTING THE SUBJECT REQUEST: STATE LAND USE <br /> BOUNDARY DESIGNATION,ZONING,SPECIAL MANAGEMENT AREA AN <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLANS. <br /> State Land Use Boundary Designation. The subject property is designated Agricultural by the State's <br /> Land Use Bou ndan map. Telecommunication towers are a permitted use by the State's Land Use <br /> Ordinance. <br /> General Plan Designation. The subject property is designated agriculture in the Count-y's General Plan, <br /> County Zoning Code. The subject property is situated in the County's Agricultural 1-acre(A-IA) <br /> zoned district The Zoning Code does allow Telecommunications as permitted use if a Use Permit is <br /> obtained for such use. <br /> Community General Plan. The subject property is govemed by the Kau Community Development <br /> Plan (CDP). <br /> Surrounding Zoning. The surrounding lands also zoned Agricultural. <br /> Special Management Area(SMA). The subject parcel is outside of the County's Special Management <br /> Area. <br /> Archaeological Resources. <br /> Ace Environmental cultural resources review and held inspection cfthe properly. Their report dated <br /> June 27,2023 is included with this Application. The report concluded that- <br /> "The archival research and literature search indicate that there are no historic properties located <br /> within the 4.5 mile radius APE of the current project area.The archaeological field inspection <br /> conducted by 5C5 confirmed there wi II be no direct impact to any archaeological sites and that <br /> there will be no added indirect visual impacts to sites from the construction of the proposed cellular <br /> tower." <br /> The State's Historical Preservation Office concurred with the determination of no historic properties <br /> affected in their letter dated July 19, 2423. <br /> 51 Peage <br />
