The property is located along the south side of Kekuanaoa Street, between <br />Manono Street and Hinano Street, Waiakea House Lots, Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, <br />TMK: 2-2-36:25 and 26. <br />ALAMEDA: The first agenda item is Dien-Jung Lin Nekoba. It’s a rezoning <br />request for 07-000071; and I’d like to turn it over to staff for the introduction. <br />Mr. Darrow? <br />DARROW: Thank you, Mr. Chair. Good morning, Members of the Planning <br />Commission. If I could direct your attention to the location map on the board. The area <br />of this application is within the South Hilo District. More specifically we are looking at <br />the Waiakea House Lots area. We have Kekuanaoa Street running in an east-west <br />direction; and we have Manono Street and Hinano Street running in a north-south <br />direction. The area of this first application is identified with the blue dot. In between <br />Manono Street and Hinano Street on the south side is Kekuanaoa Street. The applicant in <br />this case, Dien-Jung Lin Nekoba, is requesting a change of zone from Single-Family <br />Residential 10,000 square feet to Neighborhood Commercial 10,000 square feet for <br />39,771 square feet of land.
