IWASHITA: I move, as to Item 2, applicant Mala Mohala, SPP 09-000088, I think I’ve <br />got enough zeroes in there, I move that the matter be continued to the next scheduled Planning, <br />Windward Planning Commission meeting. <br />DOMINGO: Second. <br />WOODWARD: With any particular conditions on the continuance as far as what the <br />applicant needs to satisfy, or just what’s in the record? <br />IWASHITA: Well, based on the agreement. I’m making it based on the agreement of <br />the applicant and, you know, with the understanding of the applicant, or that the applicant has <br />reflected an understanding as to why we are continuing this for 30 days. <br />LEITHEAD TODD: Mr. Darrow, could you tell us what the next date would be? <br />th <br />DARROW: The next date would be December 4. <br />LEITHEAD TODD: Okay. <br />IWASHITA: Thank you. <br />WOODWARD: All right, it has been moved and seconded. Any discussion? <br />DOMINGO: Mr. Chairman? <br />WOODWARD: Commissioner Domingo. <br />DOMINGO: I, you know, for my part, I’d just like to make it sure and perhaps in behalf <br />of the Commission to so state that this decision to defer is based on the need for further <br />information and the acquisition of information that’s needed for this Commission to make a <br />sound and logical decision as to whether or not it should be approved. And it should not be <br />interpreted as a retribution for what the applicant has done or has not done in the past. <br />WOODWARD: Thank you. Any further comments? Okay, Jeff. <br />DARROW: Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Before I begin, if I could just bring to the <br />Director’s attention and the Commission’s attention, in the application just behind the write-up <br />there were several pages submitted with a pretty detailed site plan. In the beginning of that it had <br />referred to existing as well as proposed structures for the project site. So it looked like they had <br />at least addressed Item No. 3. We had three items that were requested from the applicant to <br />submit information regarding the licensing from the Department of Health, to be able to provide <br />information from Planning and Department of Public Works what it will take to get the <br />unpermitted structures legal, as well as provide information in regards to your proposed project <br />description as well as site plan.
