Good afternoon, Madam Chair, members of <br />Commission, my name is Sidney Fuke. IÓm a Planning Consultant. IÓm here assisting <br />the Applicant. My resident address is 1358 Mele Manu St. in Hilo. <br />Specifically, you know, in your staff report, I would like to just kind of indicate just one <br />editorial correction. In item No. 7, I think there was a December 26, 2003 date. I believe <br />that should be 2000, I think. But aside from that, I think the way that your staff had <br />presented the Background Report is accurate. <br />Just to summarize, however, the reason for wanting this extension -. After the permit was <br />approved by this Planning Commission in December of the year 200 <br />appealed. And subsequent to the appeal, although the appeal was in favor of the <br />Applicant, also, the Planning CommissionÓs approval of the amendment -. Then <br />subsequent to that the Applicant did engage a contractor to start working on it. In the <br />meantime, the contractor passed away and the Applicant had some physical problems of <br />3 <br /> <br />
