Yuen, Planning Director <br />Norman Hayashi, Staff Planner <br />Phyllis Fujimoto, Staff Planner <br />Jeff Darrow, Staff Planner <br />Kiran Emler representing Department of Public Works (Left 4:15 p <br />And approximately 38 people from the public in attendance. <br />APPLICANT: STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF LAND & NATURAL <br />RESOURCES, DIVISION OF STATE PARKS (SMA 03-013) <br />Special Management Area Use Permit to allow the development of the Kekaha Kai State <br />Park Phase I improvements, which include the construction or installation of a park <br />access road, gates, and signage; parking related improvements; comfort station and <br />storage facility; landscaping, pathways, and trail improvements; and associated utility <br />improvements. The property is located makai of the Queen Kaahumanu Highway and <br />nd <br />includes the area adjacent to Kua Bay, Maniniowali and Kukio 2, North Kona, <br />, TMK: 7-2-4: portions of 3, 17 and 19. <br />HawaiŒi <br />SPRINGER:We now move into Agenda Item 6, for which the Applicant is the <br />State of Hawaii Department of Land & Natural Resources, Division of State Parks <br />(SMA 03-013), a Special Management Area Use Permit to allow the development of the <br />Kekaha Kai State Park Phase I improvements, which include the construction or <br />(Hawaiian words done phonetically.) <br />EXHIBIT D <br /> <br />
