WOODWARD: Commissioner Ishibashi. <br /> <br />ISHIBASHI: Okay, I make a motion that we approve this special use permit with the six <br />conditions mentioned. <br /> <br />WOODWARD: Okay. Who made the second? Was that Commissioner Kern? <br /> <br />KERN: I did, yeah. I think this is a great compromise, to put the time limit on it and have the <br />conditions be less, and the less economic impact on the applicant. I definitely second it. <br /> <br />WOODWARD: All right, very good. Did you guys need me to go over that again? I think <br />youÓve got the conditions. One is -. <br /> <br />COTTLE: IÓm missing one. <br /> <br />WOODWARD: One is having to do with they shall comply with the c <br />time limited to five years. The third is -. <br /> <br />COTTLE: Time limited, okay. <br /> <br />WOODWARD: Okay, all right. And then Monday through Saturday 9 to 5, no alcohol and <br />tobacco, only the residents of the household, and then all applicable state, county, federal, etc. <br /> <br />TAKASE: And -? <br /> <br />WOODWARD: And -? <br /> <br />TAKASE: Because youÓre going against the recommendation, you have to give the reasons. <br /> <br />WOODWARD: BJ just gave a whole list of reasons why we disagreed with her and I supported <br />her entirely with the reasons. <br /> <br />TAKASE: All right. <br /> <br />WOODWARD: Okay, weÓll come up with that. All right. <br /> <br />KERN: Do you want me to do that? <br /> <br />WOODWARD: Yeah, in fact, that would be a good idea because we do need a list of reasons. <br />And the Planning Director actually had a pretty good list, but if you want to amplify on that, go <br />right ahead. <br /> <br />KERN: Great. Yeah, the big reason why I think weÓre doing this is that it makes sense. The <br />general economy is just in the dumps right now.
