Commissioner Springer, again? <br />SPRINGER:I€m looking at Exhibit C, second page, third item, of both of the <br />memoranda; and that€s the discussion of the substandard conditions based on width <br />alignment and roadside hazard clearances, and the statement that Palani Road should be <br />improved to an 80-foot wide right-of-way, according to the County€s General Plan, and <br />looking at the average daily volume of vehicles, and then the further discussion that this <br />would be identified as a deficient link based on daily volume under criteria established in <br />the 1998 Highway Long Range Transportation Plan. I have reservations about approving <br />this. <br />ALAMEDA:Thank you. <br />SPRINGER:You€re welcome. <br />FUJIKAWA:McCall? <br />MCCALL:Yeah, I mean, we have visited here before. You know, Palani <br />Road is definitely a problem. And if someone could refresh my memory, but I think that, <br />you know, there are no plans at this point in time to make any improvements to Palani <br />Road.
