The properties involved are located along the north side of Kulana Kea Road, <br />approximately 850 feet west of the Kulana Kea Road ƒ Wainaku Street intersection, Wainaku <br />Farms Subdivision, Wainaku, South Hilo, Hawaii, TMK: 2-6-32:4 & 5. <br />ALAMEDA:All right, let€s look at applicant Kulana Kea, LLC (REZ 05-018). Okay, <br />this is a Change of Zone for 26.122 acres of land from an Agricultural 20-acre (A-20a) district <br />and a Single Family Residential 15,000 square foot (RS-15) district to a Family Agricultural <br />5-acre (FA-5a) district. The properties involved are located along the north side of Kulana Kea <br />Road, approximately 850 feet west of the Kulana Kea Road-Wainaku Street intersection. Staff? <br />DARROW:Okay, if I could direct your attention to the location map on the board. <br />The area of this application is within the South District of Hilo, more specifically we have the <br />Hawaii Belt Road running in a north-south direction. This particular area here is Wainaku. We <br />have Kawiki Road running in this way; and this particular road running in a mauka-makai, east- <br />west direction is identified as Kulana Kea Drive. The area of this application is identified in <br />blue. We have two subject properties that are part of this application. As noted on the map we <br />have the dark green zoning identified as Agricultural 20 acres, as well as a light orange zoning <br />which is identified as Single Family Residential 15,000 square feet.
