By letter dated February 5, 2024, DWS <br /> confirmed that the applicant paid a water commitment deposit for 31 additional units of <br /> water and issuing a water commitment time extension until October 31, 2024. <br /> Furthermore, DWS indicated that the applicant would be responsible for constructing <br /> water system improvements including new, minimum 8-inch water mains capable of <br /> delivering adequate pressure and volume under peak-flow and fire-flow conditions, <br /> service laterals that will accommodate 5/8-inch water meters to each lot, and fire <br /> hydrants. Finally, the applicant will be required to remit the remaining facilities charge <br /> and prepare and execute documents conveying the improvements to the Water Board <br /> prior to receipt of Final Subdivision Approval. (Planning Department Exhibit 3 — <br /> November 30,2023 and February 5,2024 letters from the Department of Water <br /> Supply). <br /> 25. Wastewater System: According to the applicant, individual wastewater systems meeting <br /> with the approval of the State Department of Health will be utilized. <br /> 26. Solid Waste: There are no municipal solid waste collection services in the County. Solid <br /> waste will be disposed of at an authorized landfill by commercial haulers or individual <br /> homeowners. A condition of the existing ordinance requires the applicant to submit a <br /> Solid Waste Management Plan to the Department of Environmental Management for <br /> approval prior to receipt of Final Subdivision Approval. <br /> 27. Essential Utilities and Services: Electricity and telephone services are available to the <br /> site.
