<br /> <br /> <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON AGING MEETING MINUTES <br />Friday, December 16, 2022, 10:00 A.M. <br />Page 5 <br /> <br /> <br />asked earlier what AARP are doing. AARP has a listening session to look <br />at what are the priorities for the coming year. When January legislative <br />session opens, we need to prioritize what issues need to address with <br />such as transportation around the island, medical services. Nationwide, <br />Medicare will deal directly with pharmaceutical to get better prices on <br />drugs for seniors. AARP is also interested in Livable Communities for <br />aging in place. AARP will be talking to Hawaii Island Adult Care. <br /> <br /> <br />8. SCHEDULING OF NEXT MEETING: Patricia Nye, Committee Chair <br />announced next meeting - Friday, February 24, 2023. <br /> <br /> <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />Patricia Nye move to adjourn the meeting; Laenette Longakit <br />motioned; seconded by Clyde Silva.
