The four <br />Firefighter positions identified were positions at stations where recruits are <br />to be assigned as part of their training curriculum and training cycle. With the support of the HCFC, <br />she rescinded her proposal. At this time, the County Council and the <br />HCFD have decided to unfund the four fire fighter positions. The County <br />Council will return these positions to the department in July when the new <br />budget begins.
