Commissioner Matsuda asked if the strategic plan distributed to them at <br />the previous meeting was revised. <br />Chief Oliveira replied that it was the original, and an amended version <br />would be distributed to them in the near future. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />None <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Budget & Finance (Hart/Matsuda) Commissioner Hart informed the <br />· <br />commission that former Commissioner Stephen Bowles was on the mainland <br />for a month. He requested that Chief Oliveira provide them with the budget <br />by July. This will allow the commission the opportunity to discuss the budget <br />at the August meeting and have an idea of what will be presented before the <br />County Council in September. <br /> Office of Management and Staffing (Brazier) Commissioner Brazier <br />· <br />mentioned that Commissioner Okabe€s name did not appear on the agenda <br />as serving on the Office of Management and Staffing committee. Kaycie will <br />make the correction on the future agendas. <br />Commissioner Fergerstrom informed the HCFC that the Chairman for the <br />MauiFireCommissionaskedwhattheHCFC€sprotocolwasregardingvisiting <br />a Fire Station. He advised him that the HCFC did not have a policy and that <br />Chief Oliveira allows commissioners to visit providing the members do not <br />make promises to the personnel.
