These agencies include <br />the County of Hawai‹i€s Department of Public Works, Civil Defense <br />Agency, Department of Parks and Recreation, State of Hawai‹i€s Division <br />of Forestry and Wildlife, and a number of private industries. Also, the <br />community will be thanked for its patience and understanding. <br />Commissioner Fergerstrom heard that there were hotels that offered their <br />assistance. <br />Chief Oliveira confirmed that two hotels opened themselves up as <br />evacuation sites and provided refreshments. <br />ChiefOliveirastatedthattheInspectordidnotdeterminethecauseofthe <br />fire because the evidence was either destroyed or blown away. The State conducted a GPS <br />flyover and their estimate was 15,000. <br />Commissioner Browne asked it were possible to obtain the operations <br />cost figures. <br />Chief Oliveira replied that he would first be compiling a report for FEMA€s <br />reimbursement plan.
