Black Rock Pizza #2 Kona, LLC, dba Black Rock Pizza - Kona, RE: Application No. 22-09, approval of request to extend the time (10:33 AM) issuance of the liquor license for good cause shown for an additional six months, from February 2, 2024, to and including August 2, 2024) by letter received January 24, 2024, of its Restaurant General liquor license, Category A, located at 75-5813 Alii Drive, #H, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Passage requires finding of good cause pursuant to Rule 4-2(M) of the Rules and Regulations of the Liquor Commission of the County of Hawaii. If the Commission finds good cause, state what that good cause is when making the motion. Nishimoto: May I have a motion please to approve with good cause? Okabe: Okabe, so moved with good cause. Nishimoto: And the good cause being? Okabe: Following the rules, I guess. Greenwell: I think maybe in this case here we should have something because the number of issues that need to be resolved before final inspection, they seem to have a whole laundry list of reasons why they can't do it, a lot of them are probably maybe personal or of their own shortfalls, I can't pin the tail on the donkey as being only the Building Department. Nishimoto: Okay, so motion being that they have a number of items to satisfy before final licensing. Greenwell: I think if Commissioner Okabe would follow up on that, because he made the motion.
