Maurice Messina, Director, County of Hawaii Parks & Recreation to present, “2024 <br />Update: Archery Activities and Facilities within the County, Hakalau Beach Park, <br />Kolekole Beach Park and Laupahoehoe Ramp.” <br /> <br />b. Jason Sanborn, East Hawaii Representative, State of Hawaii Game Management <br />Advisory Commission East Hawaii Representative to present: “State GMAC <br />updates.” <br /> <br />6. OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />a. GMAC 2023 Third Quarter Report to Mayor Roth and County Council – <br />reassignment. <br /> <br />b. Update on draft letter – Lobster Regulation to DLNR Aquatics by prior GMAC <br />Commissioner Griffey. <br /> <br />7. NEW BUSINESS: <br />a. GMAC 2024 First Quarter Report to Mayor Roth and County Council - assignment. <br /> <br />8. ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br /> <br />a. Next meeting will be on April 16, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at 25 Aupuni Street, Puna <br />Conference Room, #1501, Hilo, HI 96720. <br /> <br /> <br />9. ADJOURNMENT: (11:00) <br /> <br />Executive Session: The Game Management Advisory Commission anticipates it may convene in one or <br />more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 <br />and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining <br />to the Commission’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS <br />Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive session. Executive session is closed to the public. <br />Anyone wishing to discuss an item that does not appear on the agenda should call the commission secretary <br />at 808-323-4444 or email Barbara.Kossow@hawaiicounty.gov to have the subject placed on the next <br />available agenda. <br />County of Hawai`i is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br /> <br />
