Name From Comments
569. Shawn B Bonnyville, ca Though I recognize the importance of economic growth and
financial welfare, there are some places that should be
forever preserved, the Punalu'u area including. Having
recently visited the Punalu'u area during November 2023 for
a seven-day stay, it was incredible. My wife and I found this
area of the island less travelled, sometimes even desolate.
However,we thoughoughly enjoyed our visit watching ocean
life and breathing in the heritage of the area.Sitting yourself
atop its lava outflows, grasslands, and forested areas, you
can envision the Hawaiian ancestors who were once there. It
is a very peaceful and fulfilling place. And I can only hope it
remains as such without further developmental disturbance.
570. Kristie L Oceanview, HI
571.
