• Building Permit No. PW.B2022-004550: Completed on Dec. 22, 2022, for roof- <br /> mounted PV panels. <br /> 11. Open Building Permit: According to records on file with the Building Division, the <br /> following building permit has been applied for but has not been issued: <br /> • Building Permit No. PW.B2023-003831: Applied for on Oct. 9, 2023, for an as- <br /> built, detached 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom guest house, with as-built catchment tank <br /> and septic system. <br /> 12. Complaint and Closure Letter: County records show a complaint was submitted <br /> regarding the subject property, alleging operation of a vacation rental in non-agricultural <br /> buildings. Following an investigation, county inspectors resolved the complaint and issued <br /> a closure letter to the applicants with findings noting the presence of several unpermitted <br /> structures, including the barn having been converted to an unpermitted dwelling. County Zoning: Agricultural-10 acres (A-10a). <br /> 17. Hamakua Community Development Plan (HCDP): The HCDP was originally adopted <br /> by the Hawaii County Council as Ordinance 2018-078 in August 2018. The HCDP <br /> objective is to promote,preserve and enhance a diverse, sustainable, local economy and to <br /> encourage the increase and diversity of employment and living options for residents, <br /> including living wage jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities that allow residents to work <br /> and shop close to home and that complement Hdmdkua's ecology, rural character, and <br /> cultural heritage. <br /> -3- <br />
