• One (1) story caretakers' cottage (Farm Dwelling), totaling 760 square feet, to <br /> include I bedroom and related development. <br /> • A 450-square foot greenhouse. <br /> • A 2,100 square foot barn/workshop. <br /> After removal of the invasive and non-native plants from the project area, the applicants <br /> propose to establish the farming practices, which will involve extending cattle fencing to <br /> effectively raise livestock, along with the establishment of the various paddocks, planting <br /> areas greenhouses, and other related development. Additional development includes the <br /> construction of paved and gravel driveways;landscaping; and small-scale renewable energy <br /> systems for use in agricultural and residential activities. Regarding utility lines and other <br /> infrastructure,potable water will be from the County water line at Ndnaina Kai Road with a <br /> 2-inch-high density polyethylene(HDPE)water line.Non-potable water will be supplied by <br /> a well for ranch purposes and stored in an on-site tank.It may also be possible to obtain non- <br /> potable water from the Hdmdkua ditch. Wastewater will be treated and disposed of in two <br /> separate septic systems, one for each of the proposed farm dwelling structures. The <br /> applicants propose to connect boundary fence up to the boundary of the 40-foot shoreline <br /> setback line,no fence or structures will be placed within the 40-foot shoreline setback area. <br /> 2. Reasons for the Request: The applicants are proposing the project to establish a farm and <br /> grazing area for personal use. <br /> 3.
