The bill seems designed to <br /> scare any reasonable person away from hosting guests. Perhaps that is by design? The <br /> penalties alone are exorbitant and completely disproportionate to any possible violation. <br /> Why? <br /> Is there a need for this bill? Who does it benefit? Should the county really try to drive all <br /> responsible locally owned short term hosts out of business?
