ANNUAL RENEWAL PROCESS <br /> • All TARs, including NUCs, will be required to renew their registration annually with the Planning Department <br /> on the dates prescribed by the Director. <br /> • The Director may deny a renewal for any of the following reasons: <br /> 1. The applicant has violated applicable laws; <br /> 2. The affidavit affirming that the TAR meets all health, safety and code requirements is found to be <br /> inaccurate; <br /> 3. The owner is delinquent in payment of County property taxes, transient accommodation taxes, fees, <br /> fines, or penalties assessed in relation to the TAR; <br /> 4 Evidence of non-responsive management, such as issuance of a notice of violation, police reports, or <br /> verified complaints of noise or other disturbances relating to the TAR operations; <br /> 5. The renewal request and renewal fee were not received withing ninety days of the expiration date <br /> indicated on the certificate; and <br /> �. A violation of standards set forth in the proposed section 25-4-16.17 of the Hawaii County Code has <br /> occurred. <br />
