Merit Board of Appeals May 20, 2015 <br /> hearing motions due by September 30 at close of business, and responsive <br /> pleadings due by October 14 at close of business. <br /> Motion: Ms. Otake moved that the hearing date be set for October 21, 2015, at <br /> 10:00 a.m. (location to be determined), ), with pre-hearing motions due by <br /> September 30 at close of business, and responsive pleadings due by October 14 <br /> at close of business. Seconded by Ms. Tulang. <br /> The voice vote, was as follows: <br /> AYES: Board Members Otake, Tulang, <br /> and Chair Rabago—3. <br /> NOES: None. <br /> ABSENT: Member Nahuina - 1. <br /> EXCUSED: None. <br /> The Counsels thanked the Board. <br /> RETURN TO ORDER The Chair directed the Board to return to the regular order of business. <br /> OF BUSINESS: <br /> BOARD APPROVAL REQUIRED: COMMUNICATION NO. 15-15.2, RECEIVED ON MAY <br /> 12, 2015, FROM JULIAN T. WHITE, DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL, TRANSMITTING <br /> THE FINDINGS OF FACT, CONCLUSIONS OF LAW AND ORDER CONCERNING <br /> COMMUNICATION NO. 15-15 APPEALING A CLASSIFICATION OR RECLASSIFICATION <br /> OF A PARTICULAR POSITION ACTION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> Chair Rabago stated that this appeal was heard in March concerning <br /> The Appellant, and would require a motion by the Board to approve the Findings of <br /> Fact, Conclusions of Law denying his appeal. <br /> Mr. White informed the Board that he's open to any changes or tweaking of the <br /> Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law. There were none. <br /> Chair Rabago stated that a motion is needed to approve the Findings of Fact and <br /> Conclusions of Law denying the appeal of the Appellant. <br /> Page 5 <br />
