STATEMENT(S) FROM THE PUBLIC <br /> At 10:07 a.m., Chair Spielman opened the floor to receive public testimony. Procedures for <br /> testimony were provided. There is a three-minute time limit on each agenda item; statements must <br /> relate to items on the agenda. <br /> [SEE YOUTUBE TIMESTAMP 4:03] <br /> No testifiers were present on Zoom or in person. <br /> Public testimony closed at 10:07 a.m. <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br /> 1. Approval of minutes of the meeting held on January 17,2024. <br /> [SEE YOUTUBE TIMESTAMP 5:22] Commissioner Hirano motioned to approve the minutes <br /> as circulated; Vice Chair Kurashima seconded. The minutes were approved without opposition <br /> with a unanimous aye voice vote. <br /> 2. Election of Chair and Vice Chair of the Cultural Resources Commission for the year 2024. <br /> [SEE YOUTUBE TIMESTAMP 8:01] Chair Spielman opened the floor for nominations for <br /> Vice Chair. <br /> Commissioner Kurashima received two nominations (Hirano, Mahoney) and accepted. A roll- <br /> call vote was taken. Commissioner Kurashima received six votes (Hirano, Mahoney, Haumea, <br /> Kinney, Clark, Spielman). <br /> [SEE YOUTUBE TIMESTAMP 10:12] Chair Spielman opened the floor for nominations for <br /> Chair. <br /> Commissioner Clark received two nominations (Hirano, Mahoney) and accepted. A roll-call <br /> vote was taken. Commissioner Clark received six votes (Hirano, Mahoney, Haumea, Kinney, <br /> Kurashima, Spielman). <br /> 3. Next meeting tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 8,2024. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Haumea and <br /> seconded by Commissioner Clark.
