Detailed reports are on file: <br /> • Crime Report: Major Amaral reported through May 31, 2024, there were 4,241 serious <br /> crimes. For the fiscal year, burglaries decreased in both Area I and Area II. Area II saw <br /> an increase in robberies, while Area I saw an increase in thefts. Auto thefts decreased <br /> in both areas. Sexual assaults increased in Area I, while murders decreased in both <br /> areas. Attempted murder rose in Area II, and assaults increased in both areas. Overall, <br />
