The applicant proposes the following elements as part of the Special Permit. Refer to <br /> Figure 2 for site plan details. <br /> Permanent Use: <br /> 1. Buildings: One (1) 1,650 square foot(36' x 46') open air pavilion with one <br /> enclosed wall is proposed for regularly scheduled worship services. In addition, <br /> one (1) 640 square foot(16'x 40') covered deck, and one (1) 256 square foot(16' <br /> x 16') covered deck are proposed for community use. <br /> 2. Bathrooms: Two (2)ADA accessible restrooms are proposed, detached from the <br /> pavilion. <br /> 3. Water: A 10,000-gallon rainwater catchment tank will serve all non-potable and <br /> fire emergency water needs. A fire hydrant is also located approximately 150' <br /> from the property at the intersection of Paradise Drive and 24th. A separate water <br /> tank will be used for potable water, which will be trucked in. <br /> 4. Wastewater: Wastewater will be handled via an existing Individual Wastewater <br /> System (IWS) approved by the Department of Health with sufficient capacity to <br /> support the two (2)proposed detached bathrooms. <br /> 5. Access: The property will be accessed via a gravel driveway from 24th Avenue, <br /> roughly 150 feet north of its intersection with Paradise Drive. A concrete walkway <br /> will connect the public parking area and the proposed pavilion. <br /> 6. Parking: Twenty-two (22) gravel parking spaces will be available for community <br /> members during service and food distribution events. One (1)ADA accessible <br /> parking space will be located by the proposed pavilion. The applicant also <br /> proposes to use the parking lot as a safe and convenient location for students and <br /> parents to wait for school buses on school days. The subject property is close to <br /> the intersection of 24th Avenue and Paradise Drive, which will allow students to <br /> easily access the bus and avoid the risk of standing at the busy intersection. The <br /> parking lot also provides additional space for vehicles to safely and easily turn <br /> around and drop off or pick up students. <br /> 7. Services: Regular worship service will be held on Sundays between 9 a.m. and 1 <br /> p.m. and on Wednesdays between 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. <br /> 8. Events: Free food distribution events are proposed to occur on the 3rd Saturday of <br /> every month between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Guest speaker events are proposed to <br /> occur two (2)times per year for 2-3 nights between the hours of 6:15 p.m. and <br /> 7:30 p.m. The dates of these events have not yet been determined. <br /> 6 <br />
