NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />a. Discussion: Turkey Hunting Regulations Affecting the County of Hawai’i, presented <br />by Commissioner Rober Duerr. <br /> <br />7. COMMITTEE REPORT: <br />a. Investigative Committee: Regulations Affecting Keauhou Bay and Logistical Issues, <br />and Potential Solutions, Committee Chair Natalie Reynolds. <br /> <br />8. ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br /> <br />Next meeting will be on July16, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at 25 Aupuni Street, Puna <br />Conference Room, #1501, Hilo, HI 96720. <br /> <br /> <br />9. ADJOURNMENT: (11:00) <br /> <br />Executive Session: The Game Management Advisory Commission anticipates it may convene in one or <br />more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 <br />and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining <br />to the Commission’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS <br />Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive session. Executive session is closed to the public. <br />Anyone wishing to discuss an item that does not appear on the agenda should call the commission secretary <br />at 808-323-4444 or email Barbara.Kossow@hawaiicounty.gov to have the subject placed on the next <br />available agenda. <br />Note: A meeting held by interactive conference technology shall be automatically recessed for up to 30 <br />minutes to restore communication when audiovisual communication cannot be maintained with all <br />members participating in the meeting or with the “in-person” location identified in this agenda. The <br />meeting may be in-person when either audiovisual communication is restored, or audio-only <br />communication is established after an unsuccessful attempt to restore audiovisual communication.
