All right, thank you and then who's going to go first then? <br /> HATA: Our first testifier is John Kawano. <br /> DEFRANCO: Yes, will please state your name and where you are from, and you <br /> have 3 minutes then to speak. Go ahead John. Unmute and speak. <br /> KAWANO: Good morning, good morning, everyone. I'm John Kawano and we <br /> are a neighbor of such property of Mr. Metzler. <br /> DEFRANCO: Yes,please go ahead. <br /> KAWANO: Okay, I'm sorry. F <br /> DEFRANCO: Yeah, but please state — <br /> KAWANO: First of all, I'd like to open up in saying Mr. Metzler has always <br /> been a good neighbor to us, been very fair but for me this project the impact on the community I <br /> feel we are maxing in our infrastructures right now. So it will promote a heavy traffic impact. <br /> Waimea, we have school traffic in the morning, after work traffic in the evening. I mean we're <br /> maxing. We can't even get out of our driveways now. Secondly such property when it rains <br /> heavy, heavy rain, water flows through our property into the Metzler property. It's always been a <br /> saturation point where it can absorb this flood waters and when he puts up that parking lot how is <br /> it going to egress the surrounding properties around him below him. That's our concern. <br /> Is it going to cause flooding to these properties because we have, the back of the property has <br /> Lanimaumau Stream. It's a flood zone and the front of the property is the egress of Lanimaumau <br /> Stream onto Mamalahoa Highway. It runs down through the front of Metzler's property, and it <br /> 2 <br /> EXHIBIT A <br />
