The applicant and her family currently operate an authorized 4-room hosted short <br /> term vacation rental but now wishes instead to operate a 4-room bed and breakfast facility within <br /> the 5-bedroom dwelling. <br /> The subject property, consisting of 9.75 acres, is located mauka or east of the Old <br /> Mamalahoa Highway (also known as the North Kona Belt Road) with a street address of 76- <br /> 3847 Duarte Road. More specifically, it is situated immediately south of the Holualoa <br /> Elementary School and approximately one half(1/2)mile north of the intersection of the Old <br /> Mamalahoa Highway and Hualalai Road. <br /> In that regard,please find following the signed application/letter of authorization and <br /> associated report, as well as a list of the names, addresses and tax map key of all property owners <br /> within 500 feet of the perimeter boundary of the subject property.
