AUTHORITY <br />These rules of practice and procedure are promulgated by the Police Commission as required <br />in Chapters 52D and 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes and by Article VII, Chapter 2, Hawaii <br />County Charter. These rules of practice and procedure shall apply to all matters within the <br />jurisdiction of the Commission as stated in the Charter. All previous rules and regulations of <br />the County of Hawaii Police Commission are hereby repealed. <br />MISSION STATEMENT <br />We advocate law enforcement based on due regard for the rights of all persons, promoting the <br />highest degree of mutual respect between the police and public. <br />
