Waimea was never meant to be a town for developers who purchase land, want to change the zoning to selfishly <br /> satisfy their bottomline. This development is irresponsible, and disrespectful to the agricultural land. One is supposed to <br /> farm or use it for agricultural purposes, NOT to build (3) 2-story buildings, a large parking lot and (5) additional <br /> residential lots. <br /> The traffic in this section of Waimea is already very dangerous with cars weaving in and out of several driveways to get <br /> on and off of the highway, and/or the center lane. The roadway cannot support this additional traffic, and has a formal <br /> traffic study been conducted? <br /> If the Commission recommends this development to the Council, you will be part of the problem, and not the solution. <br /> I absolutely DO NOT support agricultural land being turned into commercial/residential lots! <br /> Mahalo, <br /> Donna and Walter Parker <br /> 1 <br />
